A POCKET OF TIME
Emily Fussner was born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and grew up equal parts overseas and in the US. She received her BS in Printmaking from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2013. Post undergrad, she worked abroad as a teaching assistant for Gordon College in Orvieto, Italy, and as the Artist Coordinator for two years of the Alchemical Vessels Exhibition and Benefit at Smith Center’s Joan Hisaoka Healing Arts Gallery in Washington, DC. She is a third year MFA Visual Arts candidate at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and is the recipient of a 2018-2019 Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Graduate Fellowship.
